Today, President Donald Trump announced his support for House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington’s Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025. This resolution is seen as a pivotal step in the reconciliation process to advance President Trump's America First agenda. The committee passed the resolution with unanimous Republican backing.

President Trump stated, “The House and Senate are doing a SPECTACULAR job of working together as one unified, and unbeatable, TEAM, however, unlike the Lindsey Graham version of the very important Legislation currently being discussed, the House Resolution implements my FULL America First Agenda, EVERYTHING, not just parts of it.” He emphasized the need for both Chambers to pass the House Budget to facilitate the reconciliation process and consolidate priorities into "ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL."

Chairman Arrington responded by stating that their efforts align with Trump's vision: “President Trump asked for ‘One, BIG Beautiful Bill’ to pass the FULL America First agenda and that’s exactly what the House GOP Budget Committee delivered,” said Chairman Arrington. He described it as pro-growth and pro-energy while cutting taxes and regulations.

Support for Arrington's resolution extends across party lines. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson remarked, “The House budget resolution implements President Trump’s FULL America First agenda." He noted their focus on securing borders and restoring energy dominance.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise echoed these sentiments: “It’s time to act on ALL of the powerful mandates... Securing the border... strengthening our national defense," he said. Scalise highlighted that all priorities begin moving forward with Arrington's budget.

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain also voiced her support: “One Bill. The FULL agenda,” she declared. She emphasized this as an opportunity to deliver on mandates and enhance America's security and competitiveness.
