Today, House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington announced his intention to vote in favor of a short-term funding bill. This decision comes as the nation grapples with concerns over its national debt and spending.

Chairman Arrington stated, "The purpose of the debt ceiling has always been to force our nation’s leaders to deal with our unsustainable national debt and the out-of-control spending that’s driving it." He expressed confidence in President Trump's commitment to addressing deficit spending through reconciliation, emphasizing the importance of this action for future generations. "Our children’s future depends on it, and failure is not an option!" he added.

Arrington's support aligns with President Trump's recent declaration on Truth Social: "The United States will cut Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in spending next year through Reconciliation!"
