The United States' national debt has reached a significant milestone, now standing at $35 trillion. House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) commented on this development in a recent statement.

"The gross national debt is currently $35 trillion," Arrington noted. "This equates to an increase of $2.35 trillion over the past 12 months." The previous year's debt was recorded at $32.65 trillion.

The U.S. Treasury Department provides daily updates on the amount of outstanding debt, which can be accessed through their official reports.

In response to the growing national debt, the House Budget Committee's FY 2025 Concurrent Resolution on the Budget proposes measures aimed at achieving fiscal responsibility and promoting economic freedom and prosperity in America.
