LUBBOCK, TX – on June 2, Representative Jodey Arrington (TX-19) participated in the Texas South Plains Honor Flight Trip Send-Off Luncheon. Rep. Arrington led the Pledge of Allegiance and visited with Lubbock veterans before they embark on their 7th Annual Honor Flight Trip to Washington, D.C.
“Our veterans are living monuments of sacrifice, courage, valor, and patriotism,” said Rep. Arrington, “It is always humbling to participate in the South Plains Honor Flight as our veterans visit the monuments and memorials, reflect on their service to our country, and pay respects to those who came before them and those that fought beside them.”
