This week, the House Committee on Ways and Means passed out of Committee H.R. 4822, the Health Care Price Transparency Act. Included in the package was Rep. Arrington’s H.R. 4846, the Better Deals and Lower Prices Act, a bill that would require pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) to share net price data from all drugs regardless of class to employers that request it, allowing businesses small and large to access the same information and shop effectively.
