City of Lubbock issued the following announcement on Oct. 13.
Live fire training is scheduled at the LBB Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) Training Facility on:
• Wed, Oct 14th from 8am - 5pm
• Thu, Oct 15th from 8am - 5pm
This training will produce smoke and flames that will be visible from the communities surrounding the airport.
