The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025 with a narrow vote of 217 to 215. This resolution, endorsed by President Trump, aims to implement his America First agenda.

Jodey Arrington, Chairman and Representative from Texas, commented on the passage: "One small step for our Republican Conference, one big leap for the American people. By passing the resolution on the House floor tonight, Republicans have taken a crucial step in fulfilling the mandate assigned by the American people when they reelected President Trump and delivered a Republican majority in Congress."

Arrington emphasized that this budget resolution sets up a fiscal framework intended to support tax cuts for families and small businesses, strengthen law enforcement at borders, enhance military capabilities, promote energy independence, and streamline government operations. He stated that it would be "one of the most consequential pieces of legislation in modern history" as it serves as a legislative vehicle for President Trump's agenda.

He further urged Senate colleagues to adopt this budget blueprint promptly: "President Trump asked for a comprehensive bill to implement the FULL America First agenda, and that's exactly what Republicans in the House of Representatives have delivered. I urge my Senate colleagues to immediately adopt our budget blueprint so Congress can get to work on the reconciliation process that will usher in the Golden Age of America."
