Support Grows for House Budget Committee’s Ten-Year, Balanced Budget

Support for the House Budget Committee's ten-year balanced budget proposal, dubbed the "Reverse the Curse" budget, continues to gain momentum from various organizations across the country. The budget aims to reignite economic growth, cut deficit spending, and reduce the debt-to-GDP ratio without increasing taxes. Several stakeholders and budget watchdogs have voiced their support for the initiative.

Kurt Couchman from Americans for Prosperity emphasized the importance of the budget resolution as Congress' crucial first step towards holistic management of the federal budget. David Merrit of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association expressed gratitude for considering site-neutral reforms in the budget resolution blueprint for FY 2025.
