There were 116 American Indian students enrolled in Lubbock ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 12.1% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Lubbock ISD schools welcomed 25,659 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.
