Census Bureau: 76 percent of people in Lubbock County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 304,808 citizens living in Lubbock County in 2019, 231,747 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 118,507 of those people were female and 113,240 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
