Gasline

City of O'Donnell issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.

During the reconnection of gas services in O'Donnell ATMOS identified several homes that did not pass pressure testing indicating the possibility of a gas leak. Although the repairs can be quite expensive for the homeowner, it is blessing it was discovered before it endangered property and lives.

Before ATMOS will reconnect gas service the leak must be located and fixed. They require the City do a pressure check before they come back out to re-establish the service. Gas Inspections are $50.00 per occurrence and are only done during regular office hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

City employees do not offer this service as contract labor on their own time as it requires City certification.
