City of O'Donnell issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.
Only 5 more days left before the deadline to submit your application for candidacy for the May 2, 2020 election.
If you are interested in becoming a candidate for Mayor or for City Council in the May 2, 2020 election you must submit an application to be placed on the Ballot. Candidates must be a registered voter in the City limits of O’Donnell, at least 18 years of age, resident of Texas for at least 12 months, resident of O’Donnell for 6 months and cannot have been convicted of a felony. The deadline to submit an application to become a candidate is February 14, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. Applications can be picked up/turned in to City Hall Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
