Today, the House passed H.R.28, known as the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. Following this development, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) released a statement expressing his views on the matter.

Arrington criticized current interpretations of Title IX, stating, "Biden and the Left have turned Title IX against the women it was meant to protect." He emphasized that female athletes should not face competition from individuals he described as "biological men," arguing that such situations compromise athletic opportunities for women. "Our daughters should not be cheated out of their athletic opportunity by being forced to compete against biological men. This is not just wrong, it’s crazy!" Arrington declared.

The passage of this bill marks a significant moment in ongoing discussions about gender and sports in the United States.
