Washington, D.C. – Today, Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) expressed his concerns regarding the Biden administration's approach to energy projects, highlighting the prioritization of climate initiatives over reliable energy sources.

Arrington criticized the administration for its focus on the Green New Deal agenda, stating, “Biden and the far-Left are more committed than ever to their Green New Deal agenda and forcing their radical ideology on hardworking American families."

He further pointed out various actions taken by President Biden that he believes prioritize climate activism over the needs of the American people, such as the electric vehicle mandate and methane regulations targeting energy producers. Arrington accused Biden of using federal power to appease climate activists at the expense of American citizens.

Moreover, Arrington highlighted the administration's recent efforts to fast-track Green New Deal energy projects while stalling approvals for reliable domestic energy sources. He stated, “Now, he’s greasing the wheels for his climate-crazed agenda, expanding permits for Green New Deal energy projects while stalling approvals for reliable and affordable domestic energy."

In conclusion, Arrington emphasized the importance of prioritizing the economic and national security needs of American families over political expediency, stating, “Americans need a President who will put the economic and national security needs of our families - not political expediency - first."
