City of Ralls issued the following announcement on June 1.
Truckin Along US ROUTE 62/82 Yard Sales Woo Hoo!!! Five communities east of Lubbock on Highway 62/82 have joined together for Truckin’ Along US Route 62/82 Yard Sales. Follow the trinket trucks along US Hwy 62/82 to Hodge Podge Markets 62 miles from east of Lubbock to Dickens, Texas. Join us on Saturday, July 18, 2020, from 9:00am to 6:00 pm. East of Lubbock through the communities and rural stretches of Highway 62/82 to Dickens, Texas.
Watch for vintage markets, yard sales, farmers markets and stuff along the route and stop in communities to shop for bargains at the markets, yard sales and shops that you might never get to visit without this special event. Look for local restaurants, BBQ places, burger joints, food vendors, parks, historic sights, museums and friendly folks to visit. Maps available at convenience stores in Idalou, Lorenzo, Ralls, Crosbyton and Dickens.
Join us for 62 miles Junkin Good Fun, on Saturday, June 8, 2020. The cost for those wishing to be listed on the maps is $10 for individuals and $25f for businesses.
