City of Ralls issued the following announcement on April 27.
With most households sheltering in place, it has never been easier to respond to the 2020 Census, on line, by phone or by mail. Responding to the 2020 Census will have a significant impact on vital programs that benefit our communities such as Title 1 Grants for education, School lunch programs, WIC, SNAP, Highway planning and construction, Health Center Programs, Early Childhood programs, Medicaid and Medicare Part B just to name a few.The information is used for statistical and data based purposes only. At this time the Census has been extended to Oct. 31st so we will have every opportunity to make sure that everyone in our community is counted but of course the sooner the better.
