Texas Tech’s men’s and women’s track teams have won back-to-back Big 12 outdoor championships under head coach Wes Kittley. The Red Raiders swept both indoor and outdoor seasons this year, highlighted by standout performances across multiple events.

Titus Kimaru captured Texas Tech’s third-ever Big 12 steeplechase title on Friday night as part of strong showings from both men’s and women’s teams at day two of the conference championships in Tucson. Other highlights included personal bests from Zaid Latif in long jump and Collinique Farrington in sprints.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders women’s softball team made history by overcoming an eight-run deficit against Ole Miss on May 16. Their dramatic rally ended with a walk-off sacrifice fly to secure their spot in the NCAA Regional Championship game.
