Lis finished the game going three-for-four with a home run, two doubles, and three runs batted in. Mia Williams also went three-for-four with a home run, two RBIs, and two stolen bases. Jasmyn Burns contributed by going two-for-four with two RBIs. Kaitlyn Terry extended her hitting streak to twenty games—the second-longest in program history behind Elysasa Sigala’s twenty-one-game streak set in 2004.
The Red Raiders started scoring early with Williams’ two-run homer after Terry reached base on a hit to left field. Davis drove in another run during the second inning following Pannell’s leadoff double. Lis added to the lead with a home run over center field that also scored Williams after her bunt single.
Burns’ solo homer began a five-run seventh inning for Texas Tech before Hailey Toney delivered a bases-loaded single for two more runs. Dobbs capped off the scoring before Lincoln completed the shutout effort as Texas Tech secured its thirty-first win of the season.
Looking ahead, Texas Tech will host Iowa State for a three-game series starting Friday at 6 p.m.
