Elementary School for Education Innovation District Education: 1 American Indian student was enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There was one American Indian student enrolled in Elementary School for Education Innovation District in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Elementary School for Education Innovation District welcomed 175 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.6% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Elementary School for Education Innovation District roughly covers schools within Lubbock County and has a main office in Lubbock.

Elementary for Education Innovation was the only school in the district which enrolled American Indian students, welcoming one student in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
