There were 11,165 students enrolled in Frenship ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were boys, and 49% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Frenship ISD students was Hispanic, accounting for 48.8% of the student population.

Frenship ISD roughly covers schools within Lubbock County with its main office in Wolfforth.

Among the 12 schools in Frenship ISD, Frenship High School recorded the highest enrollment of 3,247 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
