Arrington and colleagues seek to overturn Biden’s "Clean Power Plan 2.0

Washington, D.C. - On June 5, 2024, Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) joined Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-12) and other colleagues in introducing a Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn the Biden administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rule titled “Clean Power Plan 2.0.” The rule would introduce new regulatory requirements for existing coal-fired and new natural gas-fired power plants.

“Since his first day in office, Biden has unleashed a whole-of-government assault on domestic energy production, the lifeblood of our economy and cornerstone of our national security. This latest broad and burdensome rule seeks to appease far-Left climate activists at the expense of everyday Americans. I’ll continue to fight for hardworking families, lower energy costs, and American energy production by pushing to reverse this rule,” stated Arrington.
