WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tomorrow, Thursday, March 7th, Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) and Members of the House Budget Committee will markup the concurrent resolution on the budget for Fiscal Year 2025.

"Our $34 trillion national debt has eclipsed the size of our economy—the largest in the world. Runaway spending and unsustainable debt are the greatest long-term threats to our national security and our children’s future," stated the House Budget Committee.

Citing James Madison, the committee emphasized, "A public debt is a public curse." They added, "Tomorrow, the House Budget Committee will meet to reverse the curse."

The committee highlighted that the House Budget Committee’s FY 2025 Concurrent Resolution on the Budget serves as a much-needed roadmap towards fiscal responsibility, economic freedom, and unleashing prosperity in America again.
