Rep. Jodey Arrington, U.S. Representative for Texas’s 19th congressional district, highlighted his recent meetings with constituents across several Texas counties and promoted the “One Big Beautiful Bill” in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) dated August 20 and 21, 2025.
On August 20, Arrington shared details from a visit to Haskell, Texas: “Enjoyed a thoughtful conversation with folks in Haskell, where faith, family, and freedom guide every decision. The One Big Beautiful Bill defends those values by cutting waste, restoring the dignity of work, and making the largest investment in border security and national”.
Later that evening, he described another meeting: “Finished up the day with my friends from Shackleford County, USA. The Big Beautiful Bill is a BIG win for working families in Albany and others in rural America who provide energy independence and food security for our nation. Proud to have authored the most consequential”.
On August 21, Arrington recounted his time in Scurry County: “Enjoyed my time spent in Scurry County meeting with local leaders, business owners, and community members in Snyder – a town that puts the FUEL in the Food, Fuel, and Fiber Capital of the World. Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill, folks here in Tiger Country will benefit from”.
Jodey Arrington has maintained strong electoral support throughout his tenure as representative for Texas’s 19th district. In each general election since 2016—including victories over Nathan Lewis in both 2022 and 2024—he secured significant majorities of the vote. For example, he won over Nathan Lewis by a margin of more than 70 percentage points in both elections.
