Rep. Jodey Arrington, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 19th district since 2017, recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding the legislative developments in Washington. His posts focused on the passage of what he describes as “The One Big Beautiful Bill,” highlighting its significance and potential impact.

On July 3, 2025, Arrington announced that “The One Big Beautiful Bill is headed to President Trump’s desk—and along with it the tools and resources to make his America First vision a reality in the lives of the American people.” He emphasized that this legislation represents “the most comprehensive and consequential set of conservative reforms in modern” times.

Later that day, at 20:59 UTC, Arrington reiterated his enthusiasm for the bill’s progress by stating “The One Big Beautiful Bill is headed to the President’s desk and help is on the way for our fellow Americans.” He added a phrase that underscores commitment to electoral promises: “Promises made, Promises kept!”

In another post at 21:23 UTC, Arrington reflected on past challenges while expressing optimism about future prospects with this new legislation. He stated “After four years of incompetence, lawlessness, chaos, and overreach, a new day has dawned in this great country of ours and there is hope on the horizon with the One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Jodey Arrington was born in Plainview, Texas in 1972 and currently resides in Lubbock. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in 1994.
