In this season of holiday giving, the Buddy Holly Center and the Silent Wings Museum invites the public to donate to the Community Outreach team with the City of Lubbock. They partner with the Salvation Army and Open Door to help provide necessities for the homeless, especially with these chilly months upon us.

From December 4 – December 17, the museums will offer FREE admission to each guest who donates items to help those in need. Items requested include:

  • Sleeping bags (blankets are not preferred)
  • Hand/feet warmers
  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Scarves
  • Socks
  • Shoes
  • Coats
  • Thermals
  • Hygiene products

For more information, please call the Buddy Holly Center at 806-775-3560 (www.buddyhollycenter.com) or the Silent Wings Museum at 806-775-3049 (www.silentwingsmuseum.com).
