U.S. Representative Jodey Arrington, who has consistently secured large margins in recent elections, recently shared his views on national defense, immigration enforcement, and Republican policy priorities through a series of posts on his official social media account.

On December 11, 2025, Arrington emphasized the importance of federal responsibility in military matters, stating: “The first and most important job of the federal government is to provide for the common defense, and this year’s National Defense Authorization Act provides the resources and support our military needs to do just that. In his post dated December 11, 2025, Arrington wrote: “Any state or local leader who arrests federal agents for enforcing immigration law are abandoning the heart of constitutional order, aiding and abetting criminal illegal aliens, and fueling the perverse incentives that drive illegal immigration.”

On December 12, 2025, Arrington outlined what he described as achievements under Republican leadership: “Republicans are delivering the America First agenda — reining in out-of-control spending, reigniting our economy for families and small businesses, securing the border, rooting out waste and fraud in Washington, and tackling the soaring health care costs created by the”.

Arrington represents Texas’s 19th congressional district. He has maintained a strong electoral record over several cycles. In 2024 he defeated Nathan Lewis with over 80% of the vote; similar results were seen in previous years against both Lewis (2022) and other challengers such as Tom Watson (2020), Miguel Levario (2018), and Troy Bonar (2016).
