On May 13, 2025, Rep. Ellzey expressed his pleasure at a visit from the Farm Bureau, stating “It’s always a good day when the Farm Bureau comes to visit!”
Later that day, he reflected on the significance of family members of fallen heroes gathering in Washington D.C., noting their sacrifices for community safety. He remarked “This week, as family members of fallen heroes gather in our nation’s capital, we are reminded of the sacrifices made to keep our communities safe. Their courage and dedication are etched into the fabric of our nation, and we owe them a debt that can never truly be repaid.”
On May 14, 2025, Rep. Ellzey reported having an important discussion with Veterans On Duty in Washington D.C., emphasizing the importance of national defense. He stated “Had a great conversation this evening in Washington with @VeteransOnDuty. The defense of our nation is not up for debate. The number one job of any government is the protection of its people, and while in Congress, I will do all I can to ensure the federal government fulfills”
