House Budget Committee schedules Member Day Hearing for December 3

The House Committee on the Budget will hold a “Member Day Hearing” on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10:15 AM. The hearing will take place in Room 210 of the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C.

According to the committee’s notice, oral testimony during the hearing is reserved for invited witnesses only. However, individuals or organizations who are not scheduled to appear may submit written statements for consideration and possible inclusion in the printed record of the hearing. Submissions must be sent by email as a Microsoft Word document and follow specific formatting requirements outlined by the committee. The deadline for submissions is close of business on Friday, December 5th.

The committee stated: “Please note: oral testimony at this hearing will be from the invited witnesses only. Individuals or organizations not scheduled for an oral appearance may submit a written statement for consideration by the Committee and for inclusion in the printed record of the hearing.”

All written submissions must include a list of clients or organizations represented by the witness, as well as contact information within the body of the email. Personal identifiable information should not be included in attachments.

Seating at the event is limited but members of the public can watch live via webcast through links provided on social media platforms, YouTube, and the Committee’s website. The webcast will become available when the hearing begins.
