On January 17, 2026, Burrows posted about an event in Southeast Texas: “Exciting night in Southeast Texas joining @SenTedCruz in support of Dr. @RayCallas4TX as he runs to represent the Texans of House District 21. From his military service in Operation Desert Storm to his career in medicine, Dr. Callas embodies the sense of duty and service our”.

The following day, January 18, 2026, Burrows discussed participating in a local Republican event: “Honored to speak last night at the Kaufman County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner, joining Rep.
