City of Lubbock Celebrates Black History Month With Film Series, Roundtable Discussion

The City of Lubbock Communications and Public Engagement Department has produced several new videos as part of our ongoing “Lubbock History Makers” series.

In the second video of the series, Ms. Sandra Chatham recounts the subtle teaching style and lasting influence of Mrs. Hazel Taylor, an inspirational educator and unsung local hero.

On February 15th, we will premiere the round table discussion on the relevance of Black History Month with several knowledgeable community members.
