Carl Tepper, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing District 84 since 2023, recently shared updates and commentary through his social media posts.
On December 11, 2025, Tepper addressed ongoing public concerns in a post stating, “If I may retort a couple of points: 1. The taxpaying public has been the ‘victim of circumstance’ for years now. 2. The ‘far-right’ went after DEI because it was coming for our children and us and was the most blatantly institutional racism (reverse-racism?) since Jim Crow.”
The following day, on December 12, Tepper announced his participation in a local charitable event: “That time of year again. I’ll be manning the kettle with Margaret Thatcher this Saturday, 12/13 at Hobby Lobby on Slide and Loop 289. 10am to Noon. The rest of the Advisory Board will be working shifts all day. Please donate. Thatcher will relieve you of your unwanted donuts.”
On December 13, he provided an update from the event itself: “We’re here! Manning the kettle with Margaret Thatcher today Saturday, 12/13 at Hobby Lobby on Slide and Loop 289. 10am to Noon. The rest of the Advisory Board will be working shifts all day. Please donate.”
Tepper succeeded John Frullo as representative for Texas’s 84th House district following his election in 2023.
