House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington has expressed his support for President Trump’s reciprocal trade policy. In a statement, Arrington emphasized the significance of challenging what he perceives as unfair treatment by foreign nations toward the United States.

“We finally have a president who is actively challenging the unfair treatment foreign nations have inflicted on us for decades,” Arrington stated.

He further warned that countries imposing unreasonable trade barriers on American exports or threatening U.S. citizens’ safety will face restricted access to the U.S. market.

“President Trump is standing up for the American people and restoring our self-respect in the process,” Arrington added.

As both Budget Chairman and a member of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade, Arrington affirmed his support for President Trump’s efforts to ensure fair and reciprocal behavior from international trading partners.
