Rep. Jodey Arrington, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 19th district, recently expressed his views on national policies through a series of tweets on May 21, 2025.
In his first tweet of the day at 07:58 UTC, Arrington stated that “The American people gave President Trump a mandate and unified Republican leadership in Congress to reverse course on the failed policies of the last four years.” This message reflects his support for President Trump’s administration and their approach to policy change.
Later in the day, at 17:24 UTC, Arrington criticized certain political tactics by stating that “This is a smoke and mirrors tactic to try to deceive the American people into thinking that the One Big Beautiful Bill will benefit the top 10 percent at the expense of the bottom 10 percent.” He added that Democrats are only proving that “our policies are a massive failure.”
Concluding his series of tweets at 19:38 UTC, Arrington detailed some benefits of what he referred to as “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” According to him, this act will “prevent a 22% tax hike on the American people while also:
– strengthening our military and securing the border
– reigniting economic growth and unleashing American prosperity
– reining in wasteful Washington spending and restoring fiscal responsibility.”
